My family has a tradition of care giving. My grandmother took me several times to my great grandmothers home to bring her food or clean her house and do laundry or other tasks that she struggled with. It started out as simple visits and over time she needed help with more tasks. When my grandfather began to have health issues my aunts and uncle and my parents were there to help and assist them with things around the house and then doctors appointments and at the end of his life many of us were able to care for his physical needs that he just could not do himself. After my grandfather passed away my grandmother needed more help her health declined fairly quickly. As her time on this earth was coming to an end many family members surrounded her and cared for her and we shared our memories of her. She had been our greatest example of selfless service and caring for others and naturally we all wanted to care for her our matriarch or our family.
Family traditions have a way of shaping your life and I am grateful for this one.
She inspired me to create medasystems.
